EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRAINING

Heartsaver CPR/AED Course
(29 CFR 1910.262)
This course offers the general public the ability to learn basic skills of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid for choking victims.  Students will learn the importance and use of an automatic external defibrillator.  In addition, the attendees will learn the Chain of Survival, early recognition of a heart attack and stroke along with how to reduce risk of heart attack and stroke.
Intended Audience: General Public, Boys/Girls Clubs, Associations, Industrial and Construction Workers

Healthcare Provider CPR
(29 CFR 1910.262)
This course is designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals who respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies.  The content of this course includes adult and pediatric CPR, the use of the two rescuer techniques, barrier devices, and automated external defibrillator.
Intended Audience: Physicians, Nurses, EMT's, Paramedics

Mass Casualty Incident Drill
This drill is a unique customized drill conducted by Compliance Consultants.  We will assess your key target hazards and risks for a large scale emergency.  Then we will stage a disaster will all the components of a real world incident utilizing our moulage techniques, simulators and experience.  These drills can simulate fire, tornado, hazardous materials, automobile accidents, or terroristic attacks.  We will then provide you with a written evaluation and recommendations upon completion along with a video tape of the drill.
Time Requirements: 4 Hours

First Responder
Based on the recognition of the National Standards and Department of Human Resource guidelines, this course provides training for all personnel whose duties involve the medical care of the sick or injured.  This training provides the participant with the skills needed to assist the EMT's and Paramedics, or to be the first on the scene of and accident.  Participants will learn advanced patient assessment, anatomy, diagnostics, and higher level of patient treatment.
Intended Audience: Firefighters and Industrial Emergency Teams
Course Length: 40 Hours

Oxygen Administration
Video and Guided discussion covering step-by-step instructions in the appropriate administration of oxygen.

Medical Responder II
(29 CFR 1910.262 and 1910.1030)
The program is a comprehensive approach combining the elements of adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Automated External Defibrillator, Basic First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
Intended Audience: Employees in the workplace, Firefighters, Police, Airline Attendants, Security Guards, and Family Members, Clubs, and Organizations.
Course Length: 6 Hours

Bloodborne Pathogens
(29 CFR 1910.1030)
In accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulation 29 CFR 1910.1030, this initial or annual refresher training is for workers with the possibility of being exposed to blood of body fluids as part of their job duties.  The recognition applies to housekeepers, laboratory technicians, nurses, physicians, custodians, laundry worker, and anyone assigned to provide first aid.  This course is used to communicate what a bloodborne pathogen is, the routes of transmission, the use of good work practices, personal protective equipment, universal precautions, engineering controls, and exposure control plans.
Intended Audience: Housekeepers, Nurses, Physicians, Lab Techs, and First Aid Providers.

Basic First Aid
(29 CFR 1910.262 and 1910.1030)
Video, guided discussions, and hands on practice covering the signs/symptoms and treatment of life threatening emergencies.  Specific topics include; Scene safety, Bloodborne Pathogens, Heart Attacks, Stroke, Bleeding, Shock, Bone Injuries, Bandaging, and Splinting.
