Fire Response
Fire Extinguisher Operation

Fire Extinguishers offer the greatest potential for immediately controlling workplace and home fires.  Users will learn hoe to identify extinguishers, what types are available, where they are located in the home and workplace, and most importantly how to use them.  Each student will be given the opportunity to extinguish a live fire using the P.A.S.S. method.
Intended Audience: General Public, Industrial and Construction Workers, Daycare Workers
Course Length: 2 Hours

Fire Brigade
(29 CFR 1910.156)
This program is designed for employers who wish to establish a emergency response team within their facility.  Students in this course will learn Fire Behavior, Personal Protective Equipment, Fire Prevention, Fire Control, Rescue Techniques, and Strategies and Tactics.

Basic Firefighter
This program provides the basic requirements for a firefighter to become compliant with NFPA 1001, NPQ I, and Georgia Standard and Training.

National Incident Management System
These courses offers compliance with the requirements of the National Incident Management System.  This course is required for anyone who has the responsibility on a emergency scene.  According to the presidential directive all fire, ems, law enforcement, public officials, public works, hazmat teams, industrial response teams, plant managers, etc. need to obtain there certifications.

Building Construction for the Fire Service
This course offers firefighters a look into new and old construction trends, aiding in the ability to preplan structures more efficient, identify hazards associated with structure, and determine appropriate strategies and tactics based on structural components.

Firefighting Strategies and Tactics
This course offers firefighters and fire officers with a systematic approach to manage fire scenes with the ultimate goal the "Everyone Goes Home".  Students in this class will be given the basic approach techniques of Size-Up, Resource Allocation, Fire Attack Strategies, and Incident Priorities. 

Rapid Intervention Techniques and Firefighter Survival
This  course will teach through both classroom and hands on drills the techniques firefighters need to identify potential hazardous or entrapment situations in order to eliminate a firefighter down emergency.  The course will focus on accountability, communications, firefighter personal tools and equipment, self extraction maneuvers, air conservation, wall breach, entanglement, MAYDAY's, Rapid Intervention Team Techniques, and more....
