Hazardous Materials Awareness (29 CFR 1910.120) In compliance with the Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) regulation 29 CFR 1910.120, this training focuses on providing any employee working around hazardous materials with basic working knowledge of regulations, definitions, identification, placarding, and labeling. This course also meets DOT standards of 49CFR 171-180. Course Length: 8 Hours
Hazardous Materials Operations (29 CFR 1910.120) Training at the "Operational" level in entended for individuals who respond to relaeses or potential relaeses of hazardous substances as part of the initial response to the site for the purpose of protecting life, environment and property from the effects of the release. They are trained to respond in defensive fashion without actually trying to stop the release Their function is to contain the release from safe distance without contacting the chemical. They are also trained to keep the chemical from spreading and to prevent exposures. Course Length: 24 Hours
Hazardous Materials Technician (29 CFR 1910.120) Technician level training id intended for individuals who respond to hazardous materials relaeases and play a more aggresive role in that they approach the point of the spill in order to plug, patch, or otherwise stop the leak. This course includes an extensive classroom and hands on training. Course Length: 40 Hours
HAZWOPER 8 Annual Hour Refresher (29 CFR 1910.120) In compliance with Occupational and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations 29 CFR 1910.120, this 8 hour annual training is to recertify individuals who have already taken the 40 hour 24 hour hazardous materials training. Course Length: 8 Hours
